The epitome of the Mitchell Trimmer Band beginning. "The LEPA Tapes - EP". Named after since defunct Life Effects Pro Audio Recording Studio. This EP recorded circa year 2008 is the truest of true representation of their youthful Rock-N-Roll/Country roots. Opening with a track titled "Long Way To Tulsa" reminiscent of a relationship we have all had at one time or another. Longing for the company of another under objections from parental guidance. Track number two "Rolling Stone" kicks off with a solid lead on the electric guitar accompanied by nothing less than the acclaimed cowbell. Traversing you through the life of a traveling musician following in his fathers footsteps. "East Jesse Night" is a story of a first love and the special place and night that was realized. Track four "This Town" driven by electric guitars soaring through an array of musical genres that literally drive you through the story of every small town in America and the deep seated love that comes with being raised there. The five song EP coming to conclusion with a love ballad style track entitled "I Got You" about a lovers embrace and the longing of more. This five song EP is bound to leave you thirsty for their debut full length album.
